The operator of a motorcycle involved in a fatality accident on Monday, April 12 has been identified. An Orcas EMS Paramedic was enroute to another call at 2:30 a.m. on Crow Valley Road when he happened across a motorcycle off the roadway that had struck a fence.
The operator has been identified as Said Dodia of Eastsound. He was travelling at a rate of speed such that he was not able to negotiate the roadway and left the road. Investigators know he was doing a minimum of 46 mph, but other than that they have nothing else.
The time of the accident is unknown, and the rider was pronounced dead on the scene.
