San Juan County Health & Community Services is hosting additional, large-scale bivalent COVID-19 booster vaccine clinics November 7 to November 10. There are many additional appointment slots still available. You may schedule your appointment at www.sjccovid.com.
These may be the last large-scale clinics of the season, so act now if you’re interested in receiving the most current bivalent COVID-19 booster. Now is the time to boost your immunity, protect yourself, and protect your community. These boosters provide better protection against the current strains of COVID-19.
All individuals 5 years of age and older are eligible for a bivalent COVID-19 booster dose if it has been at least two months since they completed either their primary vaccination series or their most recent booster dose.
Currently, there are still approximately 2,600 Americans dying each week from COVID-19. The vast majority of these are older and vaccinated (but not up-to-date) individuals. We need to work together to ensure that the vulnerable individuals around us do not end up in the hospital with COVID-19. We need to do everything we can to break the transmission chains before gathering for the holidays—this includes getting the current booster vaccine. Register for yours at www.sjccovid.com.
