Friends of Moran State Park wishes to announce that Sunday, May 10 is a Washington State Parks free day. The Discover Pass will not be required to visit state parks. So, pack a picnic and take Mom out to the park to enjoy the great outdoors on Mother’s Day.
Upcoming 2015 State Parks Free Days:
May 10 – Sunday Spring Day
June 6 – National Trails Day
June 13 – National Get Outdoors Day
August 25 – National Park Service birthday
September 26 –National Public Lands Day
November 11 – Veterans Day
Please note, free days apply only to day use (not overnight stays or rented facilities), A Discover Pass will still be required on these days to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.
