In accordance with the ‘stay at home’ order issued on Monday by Governor Jay Inslee, Moran State Park is closed until April 30. The closure began on Wednesday morning, March 25.
The closure does not affect through traffic on Olga Road, according to Park ranger William Hoppe. The road to Mountain Lake and the summit is closed at the junction with Olga Road.
Walking in the park is still permissible, but all facilities including bathrooms, camping spots, shelters, and the play area, are closed. All parking areas inside the Park are also closed.
All facilities are also closed at Obstruction Pass State Park and there is no camping or parking allowed.

This one seems like a mistake to me. I was in the park Sunday and saw hardly anyone else (often the case at this season). People need nature, need to see one another’s faces, need an OUTlet. Trust us to act responsibly.
