In its 17th year, the Orcas Montessori School wreath sale is an Orcas Island holiday tradition. This year the sale features two sizes of wreaths which can be shipped anywhere in the US, or delivered for free to Orcas addresses.
The wreaths are hand-made of noble fir and decorated with blue-berried juniper, yellow tipped incense cedar, pinecones and a festive red velvet bow. 24” wreaths are $25, and 36” wreaths are $35 each. Shipping service is available for an additional fee.
“The wreath sale is a great way to spread holiday cheer while helping the school provide a caring and stimulating environment for our island’s young learners,” says Teresa Chocano, Executive Director of the school.
There are several ways to place your order. Order forms can be found at Orcas Montessori School, 1147 North Beach Rd. Online ordering is available at www.orcasmontessori.org. Those who prefer to order by phone may contact Alyson Stephens at 376-5868. Wreaths will also be available in front of Island Market on Saturday, November 19, along with the school’s ready-to-bake frozen apple crisps.
Orcas Montessori School thanks Island Hardware for their assistance in getting the wreaths to the island, Larson Storage for donating the use of a storage unit, and Jennifer Brennock for use of her trailer for the sale.
