The kids at Montessori warm up winter with their annual tea
Orcas Montessori School hosted its annual Mid-winter Valentine Tea last week, entertaining parents, siblings and other guests with songs, conducted by Guide Tom Rubottom.
With many a shout-out to the audience, the students shared the spotlight center stage as they introduced numbers such as “The Backwards Alphabet Song” and the perennial favorite, “You Are my Sunshine.
Following the entertainment, School Director Teresa Chocano welcomed the visitors and issued an early invitation to the April 30 Montessori School Fundraiser. Then tea, cookies and finger sandwiches were passed around to the invited guests.
