Tethered on a beach in West Sound is a dock. Not an unusual sight — beach, water, dock. But this dock has been rescued after floating by in the West Sound vicinity of Clam Harbor.
The dock is described as about 10×30 and in good shape. It’s got a 3/4′ bridle on one end for towing. Some of the float boxes have come off, however . It found this new landing spot in late December during those strong winds we experienced.
So, there it sits, waiting to be claimed. If you have any information or insight on who the owner may be, contact Mark Ingman at San Juan County Public Works, marki@sanjuanco.com or 360.762.5821 (cell)
