Orcas High School Homecoming Parade at 3 p.m. down North Beach Road and up Prune Alley in Eastsound.

Enchanted Forest: a Cabaret of Magic and Mischief  will run at the Orcas Center OffCenter theater at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and Saturday  this weekend and the next: October 13 -15 and 20 – 22. All tickets are $13 and may be purchased by calling 376-2281 ext 1 or visiting the Orcas Center box office during box office hours which are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon- 4 pm. “Knowing Your Child and Your Child Knowing You” is the title of a free, two-hour seminar to be presented or parents and grandparents of infants and preschoolers. from 10 a.m. to noon in the Madrona Room at Orcas Center. It is sponsored by the Orcas Medical Foundation and will be presented by Catherine Henderson, Ph.D., A.R.N.P.

Olga Fall Harvest Celebration from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Olga Energetic Club in downtown Olga.

Fall Farmers Market at the Odd Fellows Hall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Call Jennifer Pietsch, Market Manager @ 317-8342.

“Leaves of Gold” Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival Concert at the Rosario Music Room at 7 p.m. For tickets to the “Leaves of Gold” concert and reception, call the Festival Office 360-376-6636. Tickets are $150: proceeds benefit Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival programming and music in the schools. Following the concerts, guests are invited to enjoy beverages and hors d’oeuvres in the Mansion’s Orcas Room.
