Enchanted Forest: a Cabaret of Magic and Mischief will run at the Orcas Center OffCenter theater at 7:30 p.m. this Friday and Saturday this weekend and the next: October 13 -15 and 20 – 22. All tickets are $13 and may be purchased by calling 376-2281 ext 1 or visiting the Orcas Center box office during box office hours which are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon- 4 pm. “Knowing Your Child and Your Child Knowing You” is the title of a free, two-hour seminar to be presented or parents and grandparents of infants and preschoolers. from 10 a.m. to noon in the Madrona Room at Orcas Center. It is sponsored by the Orcas Medical Foundation and will be presented by Catherine Henderson, Ph.D., A.R.N.P.

Anna Bolena by Donizetti — New York Metropolitan Opera season Live in HD performance at the Orcas Center at 1 pm. Tickets for Anna Bolena are $15 for adults and $11 for students. $2 off for Orcas Center members and may be purchased on the website www.orcascenter.org or by calling 376-2281 ext 1 or visiting the Orcas Center box office during box office hours which are Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon- 4 pm.
“Leaves of Gold” at 2 p.m. at the Rosario Music Room. For tickets to the “Leaves of Gold” concert and reception, call the Festival Office 360-376-6636. Tickets are $150: proceeds benefit Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival programming and music in the schools.Following the concerts, guests are invited to enjoy beverages and hors d’oeuvres in the Mansion’s Orcas Room.
