Scott Gianola passed away in his home on Orcas island December 19, 2017. He was born March 5, 1954 in Seattle. Scott moved to Orcas island in the late eighties. Scott was fortunate to have occupied an OPAL home since 1994.
Orcas was his home and Scott touched many lives in many different ways.
There will be a potluck celebration of Scott’s life at the Odd Fellows Hall Sunday March 4 2018 at 1 p.m. Let us break bread together (bring your favorite dish). Scott would love it if you brought your own plate, cup, silverware. Oh, and bring your own drink. NO Waste!

- Yogi instructor
- Barista
- Cook
- And a musicologist. of sort
Scott is survived by his cat Sarah Vaughn, his-mother Peggy Gianola, brothers, Fred (Gino) Gianola, Jack Gianola, and his sister, Marie Gianola. Plus five nephews: Tommy, Gabriel, Micah, Joshua, Tristan.
Donations in memory of Scott may be made to the food bank and animal shelter.
