The Friends of the Orcas Island Library will hold their annual meeting on Sunday, October 11th at the Orcas Island Library, from 4:30 pm – 6 pm. During the meeting, we will be electing new members to the Board of Directors and will pass on reports of the last fiscal year, including results from fundraising events. All current members are eligible and encouraged to vote. Doors open at 4pm.
In partnership with the library, we are pleased to announce Ben Lee, Associate Professor in the Information School at the University of Washington, will join us at 5pm to talk about AI in libraries. Members of the community are invited to join this free event.
The Friends of the Orcas Island Public Library is a volunteer nonprofit charitable organization.
