Noah Purcell, the current Washington State Solicitor General, is going to be at the Outlook Inn (Victoria Room) from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28. This event is free and open to everyone.

Originally this was planned as an opportunity to meet Noah as a candidate, but since Governor Jay Inslee just announced that he is running for a third term as Governor, our State Attorney General Bob Ferguson will run again for state AG, and Noah will continue to serve as our state’s Solicitor General in the state attorney general’s office. So this event does NOT involve a fund-raiser for Noah’s campaign for state attorney general.

Instead Noah will speak about his court experience arguing the first successful challenge of Trump’s Muslim Ban, and will discuss other important cases challenging the Trump administration, including ongoing immigration matters. He encourages questions and open discussion. It should be a very interesting discussion.

Please join us to meet Noah, and hear about these important issues from the perspective of a first rate litigator for the people’s interests.
