Your once-a-year chance to change your Medicare Drug Plan or Medicare Advantage Plan has begun. You have until December 7 to make changes, which take effect January 1, 2026.
Plan costs and coverage can change every year, so it’s worth reviewing your options. Attend a SHIBA Open Enrollment presentation on November 13 at 1 p.m. at the Orcas Senior Center to learn more.
Drop-in help will also be offered at Orcas Senior Center on November 8 (10 a.m.–1 p.m.), November 22 (10 a.m.–1 p.m.), and December 6 (10 a.m.–1 p.m.) on a first-come, first-served basis.
SHIBA, sponsored by Orcas Senior Center, is a free, unbiased, and confidential informational service offered through the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. Contact the Orcas Island SHIBA office at 360-376-5892 to schedule a counseling session.
