The public is invited to a free presentation on the 2013 Medicare Open Enrollment Period.
The SHIBA (Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors) program volunteers will make the presentation on Thursday, October 10th, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Madrona Community Room at the Orcas Island Public Library.
We will cover changes to the 2014 Medicare Part D benefits, Extra Help program for Part D benefits, how to choose a prescription drug plan and a Medicare Advantage plan, and what to watch out for. SHIBA is a free, unbiased service of the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner.
