October 7, 1:30 – 3:30 p.m., San Juan Islands Museum of Art

Master sculptor, Michael Peterson, is presenting a class on October 7 at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art (SJIMA). It will be an overview of surface development plus images of work and chainsaw sculpting techniques from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
The class is free with the cost of admission and free to members and those under 18.
Peterson is one of three artists in the main gallery exhibition FROM ROCKY OUTCROPPINGS. The others are photographer Peter de Lory and printmaker and sculptor, Jean Behnke.
SJIMA’s exhibits are open 11-5 Friday-Monday, and is offering Pay As You Can Mondays.
