||| FROM CHAMBER OF COMMERCE |||
The Chamber of Commerce invites you to take part this Saturday, October 31
- We are offering a safety-first Trick or Treating plan, inviting businesses or individuals to set up a small treat table on North Beach Road (A Street to Main Street) from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.
- Trick or Treaters and parents will stroll up and down North Beach with stops at distanced tables (next to sidewalks) along the way.
- Parking and auto access will be limited from 2 pm – 5:30 pm. Cars already parked in lots or on the street can exit safely during the event.
- Face masks and hand sanitizer will be available when needed.
Want to take part in the festivities??? Here’s how:
- Provide a candy table. All that’s needed is a small table and a helper to replenish candy on the table.
- Donate candy to the event. The Chamber will gladly collect any candy donated and make sure all the tables remain well-stocked.
- Volunteer a few hours? We will have volunteers safeguarding cars from entering the street … helping parked cars exit safely … and hand out masks for those who need them.
Who else is taking part? Our list is growing day by day:
Aeronautical Supply … Chamber of Commerce … Con’s Pit Stop … Country Corner … Emmanuel Episcopal … Monkey Puzzle … Orcas Community Church … Orcas Island Realty … Orcas Online … Orcas Rental Cars … Pawki’s … Ray’s Pharmacy … Rotary Club … and Windermere Real Estate.

[EDITOR’S NOTE: A costume mask is not a substitute for a protective mask.]
