The San Juan Marine Resources Committee will meet on Wednesday morning to discuss a nomination for the state’s rockfish advisory committee, the upcoming retreat agenda and a proposal for an Environmental Protection Agency grant.
Ginny Broadhurst, director of the NW Straits Initiative will provide an update. Matt Niles from Dept. of Fish and Wildlife and Dave Palazzi from Dept of Natural Resources will present information about what the state is doing to protect aquatic habitat from construction and work activities.
