A handful of Orcas Island poets are inviting other local poets and friends to a few hours of original poetry reading at Orcas Public Library on Tuesday, July 26, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Organized by Ed Wilson, Bruce Adkins, Jim McKeon and Rebecca Weeks deMeritt, our idea is to tide us over until fall poetry classes and readings begin again.
“We have no idea how many will show up, so we’ll suggest a five-minute limit per poet to begin,” said Wilson. “No charge. No obligation to read. Hope to see you there!”
