As part of Orcas Center’s new online streaming offerings, pianist Stephen Fairweather will be performing on Sunday, October 18 at 7 p.m. His show, “Autumn Rain,” is a compilation of pieces inspired by the personal and collective events that have shaped the last year. It is a reflection on the passage of time, changing of seasons, and an expression of the grief and mourning that accompanies love and loss. It is also an homage to the healing and restorative power of nature.

Stephen Fairweather is a pianist and composer from NW Montana currently residing on Orcas Island. An active member of our artistic community, Fairweather has been seen on the Orcas Center stage in Cirque-Us and Enchanted Rock productions. He has worked as an accompanist for choral and musical theater performances, and as a church pianist with a musical range that runs the gamut from solo acoustic piano songs and ambient soundscapes to trip hop, dream pop, and indie electronica.

Join us for an incredible night of piano artistry – simply visit www.OrcasCenter.org on Sunday, October 18 at 7 p.m. to watch live! While this event is complimentary, donations are always welcome to help support the artist and Orcas Center during the COVID-19 closure.
