“Mr. Jones”
Poland | 2019 | 141min
“MR. JONES is a masterful historical thriller based on real events that transport to a time and place seldom seen on the screen. The film tells of a past that eerily echoes the present,” says Peter Goldwyn (Samuel Goldwyn Films). Mr. Jones is the real-life inspiration for George Orwell’s “Animal Farm.” “I’m extremely happy that North American audiences will have a chance to discover this story that has long been hidden from the world. It’s an important chapter of history that demands justice, one we must learn from before it’s too late,” says director Agnieszka Holland. WATCH TRAILER/PURCHASE TICKETS HERE

“Shirley”
USA | 2020 | 107min
Shirley, a new film directed by Josephine Decker and Martin Scorsese as executive producer stars an unsurprisingly superb Elizabeth Moss as writer Shirley Jackson. Jackson mostly famous for her short story “The Lottery” and In 1959, she published “The Haunting of Hill House” a supernatural horror novel widely considered to be one of the best ghost stories ever written. Like a lot of great genre writers, Jackson consistently used thriller conventions to illuminate the phantasms of the mind and turn her own demons into art. “Shirley” is a worthy testament to her legacy. – NPR Movie Review WATCH TRAILER/PURCHASE TICKETS HERE
