The Orcas Island fire and Rescue Pancake Breakfast and the Orcas Island Lions Club Salmon BBQ are returning this Saturday, July 2. The Orcas Island Volunteer Firefighter/EMT Association will be serving pancakes, sausage, and eggs from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Eastsound Fire Station. Proceeds support your local firefighters and EMTs.
Then, also at the Eastsound Fire Station, from 4-7 p.m., the Orcas Island Lions Club will be serving smoked Salmon, BBQ chicken, baked potatoes, rolls and cole slaw, with “take out” available. The proceeds support local community service projects and scholarships.
Consider picking up a salmon dinner “to-go” on your way to Martin Lund’s concert in the park.
