The Orcas Island Library parking lot is scheduled now to be closed from May 31 through Jun. 9 for concrete and asphalt work.
Pedestrian access will be available from the north and south, except for intermittent periods depending on work patterns.
We ask that people park on nearby streets or the north end of the Community Church parking lot (thanks to the church for this), and that they refrain from parking in the adjoining business lots.
Thanks for your patience as we approach the final weeks of our building project, and mark your calendars for our grand opening celebration, 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jun. 23.
