Thank you to all the participants and the many folks that lined the streets enjoying another colorful and whimsical Summer Solstice parade and celebration. Although we are a small community, our creativity is huge.
Bountiful thanks to our sponsor San Juan County Parks and our always helpful Sheriffs. This event exists due to the generous volunteer efforts of so many talented people. Much gratitude to Ginny Lu Wood who brought us into the 21st century with Facebook and a website. Special thanks to Frank Michels, Mark Padbury, Jon Block, Kyle Ater, Susan Mustard, Vicky Clancy, Sparks, Mindy Kayl, Mary Jo Ahern, George Post, Maria Papademetriou, Kim Anderson, Veronica San Martin, Patrick Bennett, Michel and Doug Marshall, Judy and Scott Whiting, Dave Page, John Clancy, Dave Roseberry, Steve and Kerry Quirk, Charles Dalton, Gulliver Rankin, Dan Larsen, Tika Thorson, Grace and Hailey Thompson, The Exchange for a great fashion show and the talented musicians including The Sandfleas, Turtleback Ceili Ensemble, The Dustbunnies, On It and Bigbee of the Whitetree.
It is a joy to live on this special island and it is a delight to go outside and play, celebrating art, community and summer with friends, neighbors and visitors.

It is this community that should give thanks too you! Year after Year you both give huge amounts of your time to make this parade happen.
Thank you:)
I thought this years parade was awesome! I so loved seeing our golden stilt walking ladies. Watching them year after year from a young age to now adults! Everyone wore a smile from ear to ear.
Bravo! Job well done!
