Winnie is a long-time Orcas and Waldron resident and well connected to our island communities. She takes a personal interest in the energy well-being of OPALCO members and has worked hard to make the Member Owned Renewable Energy (MORE) program known and used by members. Winnie has the passion and commitment to renewable energy resources we need on the OPALCO board.
Since she joined the board in 2010 public outreach for renewable energy and load management has vastly improved. She attributes that to the well-formed team of board members and OPALCO staff but it is also due to the focus and intention Winnie brings to the OPALCO board. Let’s keep that winning combination and re-elect Winnie!
