I have known Moana for almost a decade and whenever we discuss local issues I have been quite impressed with her knowledge and her ability to display a thorough understanding of the issues. As a Charter Review Commissioner, Moana will bring to the job her many years’ experience in the legal profession, Past President of the Orcas Island Community Foundation and a variety of other local boards and responsibilities.
The county charter needs a periodic review to insure that the spirit of the original charter is persevered, yet insuring that the needs and challenges of San Juan County’s citizens are addressed. We want Moana Kutsche to be involved in this review process and I am confident that she will serve us well as a Charter Review Commissioner as she is committed to the wellbeing of Orcas’ citizens and environment in particular and the county in general so please join me in voting for Moana Kutsche.
