We enthusiastically support the candidacy of Art Lange for Commissioner in the 3rd District in the proposed Public Hospital District election on April 24, 2018.
The importance of this selection cannot be overstated. A candidate must have experience and expertise relevant to the “job” of commissioner. Art’s credentials are clearly presented on his web site, www.artlange.net.
Beyond these specific life experiences, there are qualities crucial for an effective candidate. These include ability to understand the totality of the undertaking, to communicate clearly and to work collaboratively. This group of 5 commissioners must be able to function well as a team for the good of the whole Island.
We have worked with Art and seen these essential qualities demonstrated. He will be an outstanding Commissioner.
