It was a great honor to sing at the Salmon Homecoming event on Orcas Island this past Saturday. I was excited to be there with two of the greatest whale advocates and educators in the country, Ken Balcomb of the Center for Whale Research and Howard Garrett of Orca Network, and Jim Waddell, who is doing great work on educating about why the four lower Snake River dams should be breached, thus allowing the Chinook salmon to reach the Southern Resident Killer Whales, which are starving for lack of these salmon, 85% of their diet.

Many thanks to Jacques White and Minta Crafts of Long Live the Kings, and to Kathy and Jim Youngren for hosting, for all their years of service on behalf of salmon survival, and for having us come and sing, and to all who came, participated, and donated to the cause.
