This Sunday, April 26th, DVSAS is sponsoring a 5K Run/Walk called “BE THE SOLUTION” – registration starts at 9am and the race begins at 10am at the Orcas High School.
This is a fundraiser and awareness event for the Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services
It’s a great way to do something healthy and support a good cause.
Though I am not a runner, 5k (about 3 miles) is something most of us can do in our sleep. I am really looking forward to it. There is a wonderful energy that fills the air when friends are walking and jogging and running along, sharing a common purpose on a beautiful day, in an extraordinary place.
The weather looks beautiful for Sunday.
