Please join Friends of Moran as we plant trees at Camp Moran this Saturday, April 20 at 10 am. We will meet at the Environmental Learning Center. Bring a round pointed shovel and gloves. We will have hot coffee, tea and treats.
It’s a great opportunity to be a part of the future in Moran State Park. Our generation may not see these trees grow as big as those that were taken out due to laminated root rot, but we can play a positive roll by replanting trees that are not susceptible to the fungus and helping re-establish the forest around the ELC.
Your children’s children will have a story to share.
Michel Vekved, President, Friends of Moran State Park
