— from Rita Latsinova —
I have been an appellate lawyer in Washington for 25 years and I will be voting for Nick Power for Prosecuting Attorney. My reasons are both professional and personal.
On the professional side, I have seen examples of Nick’s legal work and know him to be an effective, creative and tireless advocate for his clients. If elected, Nick will serve as the lawyer for San Juan County — he will be our lawyer — and I am confident that the County and its residents will be well represented. Nick has the fresh legal perspective we need and the energy and talent to implement it.
On the personal side, I know Nick’s family and trust his integrity, his values, and his commitment to justice. Please join me in voting for Nick Power.

Well, there you have it folks. Both candidates are nice people I have no doubt, but nothing beats specifics about the past to foretell the future, such as and only as one example .
A county prosecutor’s job is unlike any other in the law, and in our case includes being coroner. Having practiced over 50 years and having worked with, against or under prior prosecutors, I’m voting for Randy Gaylord and hope you will too.
