— from Didier Gincig —

What a Whale of a Show it was! Youngsters ranging from five to eighteen years of age (as well as some adults joining along!) had a great time sharing their passion for music, dance, storytelling, and fun on center stage at the Orcas Center.

I’d like to express much gratitude for the Orcas Center for this annual opportunity for children to dazzle the audience and bring laughter, awe, and love into the community through the arts. And what an audience it was for both nights. Thanks to everyone who showed up and supported these kids. We couldn’t do it without you!

Much thanks to Isabella Evans, Thian Armenia, and Clara Petros for their excellent work backstage to keep the rhythm of the show running smoothly and making everything just as it needed to be so performers could be comfortable.

Thanks to Robert Austin who put in much time in preparation before the show and was skillful during the event so everyone sounded great. Thanks to Robert Hall for your wonderful work with lighting.

Of course, much appreciation goes to all the young performers who shared their enthusiastic performances and their loving hearts.

We’ll see you next year at Whale of a Show and at the January Whale of a Show that will be performed by only adults. What a show that will be!
