Orcas Senior Center would like to thank the community and Orcas Food Co-op for supporting the nutrition program during the month of December’s Community Hero Program. Community members who shopped at Orcas Co-op rounded up their purchases to the nearest dollar and shopped big on the third Thursday of December to bring in a grand total of $1480!
All proceeds will support the nutrition program at Orcas Senior Center. The nutrition program provides congregate meals at Orcas Senior Center and hot delivered meals to homebound seniors three times a week.
