Despite the intermittent rain, the Annual Library Fair and Summer Book Sale sponsored by the Friends of the Orcas Island Library (FOIL) was a success.
As always, this was due to the efforts of the many volunteers: those from FOIL, along with help from the 6th Grade Class, the Girls Soccer Team, and the volunteers from Camp Orkila. We would also like to gratefully acknowledge the perennial assistance from Orcas Island Freight and from Island Hardware and Supply.
And, of course, let’s not forget all those who braved the showers to buy books.
