I’ve worked with Jennifer through Shaw Islanders Inc, where she’s been the Recording Secretary for the Shaw Inc board for the last three years. She’s steady, organized and easy to work with. She keeps things on track and communicates clearly, which makes a big difference when a group is trying to get things done.
She initiated the “Brown Bag” lunches once a month. It’s informal open forum where residents can meet and discuss issues that are important to the community.
She is also the person who organized the 4th of July celebration on Shaw for the last three years. She pulls together volunteers, plans the details, and keeps everything running smoothly, even when surprises pop up. It feels welcoming and well run because she puts real care into it.
She is involved in the Ferry advisory committee, Shaw Island Community Land Trust, Teacher Housing Committee, and she handles all with respect and personal commitment.
What I appreciate most is that she listens and then follows through. She’s thoughtful, practical, and genuinely cares about the community and results that people can feel in their everyday lives.
I recommend Jennifer without hesitation. I believe she’ll represent District 3 with integrity, clarity, and a real sense of responsibility.
