I am happy to endorse Stephanie O’day for County Council from the perspective of a builder on San Juan that sees the real struggle new families have trying to make a home here on the island.

Stephanie is the advocate that San Juan County residents and Contractors need. I have 
worked with Stephanie on numerous projects where we have had to face head on the challenges of permitting and building in the San Juans. Permitting can be as big of a hurdle as financing when trying to build.

Stephanie is the only candidate that has experience in what it takes to build housing for those of us on a regular income. This different perspective and experience give Stephanie a unique opportunity to help San Juan County make a place for our most essential persons who ironically often struggle to find homes.

I’d like to add that I am in no way being critical of anyone in the SJC DCD or TOFH building department, some of you are friends and all are friendly.
