Letter to Editor | As I bid farewell…

As I write this letter, it is with mixed emotions that I bid farewell to an incredible chapter of my life’s journey. After 17 years of hard work, creating, growth, and dedication, the time has come for me to turn a new page. I wanted to take a moment to extend my deepest gratitude to each of you for your unwavering support and trust throughout the years.

When I started this venture, I could not have imagined the path that lay ahead. From the early days of selling just oysters and clams in the live room to where Buck Bay Shellfish Farm is today – it’s been a remarkable journey of growth, challenges, and successes. None of this would have been possible without the support and commitment of people like you, my valued and loyal customers and so many dedicated employees.

To all my past employees: your trust in my vision, and your belief in what we were building helped us overcome obstacles and reach milestones that we could only dream of. Together, we’ve weathered lots of changes, expanded our services, and built a legacy that will always be remembered. I am very proud of each of you for your part.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked alongside such dedicated individuals and blessed to meet all our valued customers over the years and build incredible friendships with a great deal of you. Each of you has played an integral role in the success of Buck Bay, and I cannot thank you enough for the partnership, loyalty, and camaraderie you’ve shared with me. Your support has been a source of inspiration and motivation, and it will forever be a cherished part of my life story.

I will be around until September 14th which is when our season ends at Buck Bay, then I will depart shortly after.
