I’m voting for Rick Hughes this election cycle for two main reasons: His dedication to making himself accessible to the public and his strong support for local sustainable agriculture.
Rick Hughes is one of the most accessible public officials I have had the opportunity to work with. He is extremely community oriented and I’ve always appreciated his willingness to make time to sit down with community members and discuss their concerns.
Rick Hughes has been a strong advocate for local sustainable agriculture. During my time serving as Chair of the Agricultural Resources Committee of San Juan County I have had the opportunity to work closely with Rick and I look forward to continuing to work with him to advance agricultural priorities and making it easier to farm in San Juan County.
