— from Didier Gincig —
Thank you Orcas Island community for your strong support for our Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory play. Full house lively audiences were an important component; hearing a room full of laughter makes all this work worthwhile.
Much gratitude to all the generous volunteers who stepped up to masterfully help with this project: set design, music and sound, lights, dancing, costumes, publicity, creative problem-solving, and input that makes this play run so smoothly.
What a masterful job by the backstage crew who overcame adversity and supported the performers through every scene.
To the actors and actresses who participated, thank you for saying yes and for all the hours of devotion in rehearsal and for bonding together so well. I will miss this temporary family.
Much gratitude to the Orcas Center for believing in this production to make this Golden Opportunity possible.

Didier,
What a delight, and how lucky we are as a community to be able to have such wonderful entertainment. Kudos to you for bringing the idea forward of doing this play and then executing it so masterfully.
