Cara Cohn is in the hospital working her hardest to recover from emergency surgery. This was her 11th leg surgery. For those of us who know Cara, we have witnessed the great contributions she makes daily in our community, including her work in vocational rehab here in San Juan County. Her loving husband is a member of the Odd Fellows men’s service organization, as well as a Brown Bear Bakery employee.
Cara, husband Phil, and son Ian are as humble, thoughtful, and engaged in our community as a family can be.

These are not easy times for Cara and her family. Five days ago Cara fell down her stairs after her femur broke, sending her into the ER for multiple surgeries, her current hospital stay, and acute abject pain.
Cara has a long road ahead of her, and financially a great mountain to climb.

Please contribute if you can to her GOFUNDME campaign, reducing the financial stress the Cohns are experiencing. May we all hold positive energy for Cara and her family, letting them do the hard work of recovery and healing from this traumatic accident.
