Lesley Liddle is offering a beginning obedience class for puppies up to six months old, and an obedience class for dogs that are older and need basic manner skills. For dogs over six months old who have already gone to school, Lesley has a class that is an Orcas version of “Rally-O”, an APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) canine sport that challenges handlers and dogs to further refine their movements with precise team work and to learn a more advanced set of practical and fun skills. Dogs that show serious aggression to other dogs are not appropriate for these classes.
If you and your dog are interested in any of Lesley’s classes please confirm with Lesley at 376 6220. Classes will begin Nov 7th with an orientation meeting at the Orcas Animal Shelter at 7pm. Tuition is due at that time. Please DO NOT bring your dogs to this first meeting. Thereafter classes with your dog will be held at the Oddfellows Hall in Eastsound. Class times will be determined at the orientation.
