— from Vanessa Julian —

On Wednesday, September 21, 10 a.m. at Orcas Center, Kelly Dodson and Sue Milliken of Far Reaches Farm will be giving a talk about “New and Unusual Plants from Around the World.” One of the largest collection of uncommon ornamental plants in the state is growing at Far Reaches Farm located in Port Townsend.

Kelly and Sue have spent their lives learning about plants in nurseries and botanical gardens.

Let them satisfy your lust for new plants, showcasing plants from their seed collecting expeditions in Asia and other remote areas. For further information go to www.orcasislandgardenclub.org.
