WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Rep. Rick Larsen (WA-02) released the below statement after voting for the Bipartisan Budget Agreement (BBA). The BBA passed the House by a final vote of 314 to 117 and now heads to the Senate for consideration.
“I supported the Bipartisan Budget Agreement to prevent catastrophic default and maintain U.S. economic leadership in the world,” said Larsen, the lead Democrat on the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee. “Passing the BBA is a critical step forward to protect Northwest Washington working families, veterans and seniors, continue to invest in infrastructure and green jobs, and keep the economy on the move. I urge the Senate to pass the BBA and send the bill to the President’s desk for his signature.”
