I am very excited that Governor Tim Walz has been selected as Vice President Harris’ running mate. Tim is a National Guard veteran, a former teacher, a former colleague of mine in the House, and an impressive legislator, leader, and communicator as the governor of Minnesota.
His addition to the Democratic ticket drives home the stark choice that voters have this November.
The Harris-Walz team will continue to invest in transportation and we all know transportation means jobs.
The Harris-Walz team will codify Roe vs. Wade into law; Trump is proud that he helped strike it down.
The Harris-Walz team will protect and expand healthcare access; Trump wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act which provides healthcare coverage for 21.3 million Americans.
The Harris-Walz team will also stand against Trump’s Project 2025.
Former prosecutor Vice President Harris, along with National Guard veteran Governor Walz, guarantee strong, experienced, trustworthy leadership; 34-time convicted felon Trump guarantees division and chaos.
The Harris-Walz team is the right choice for America, and I look forward to campaigning alongside Vice President Harris and Governor Walz to help Democrats win up and down the ballot and again want to congratulate Tim on being on the ticket.

Vote Jason Call for Washington’s 2nd district! Larsen sends us cheap postcards from D.C. (the congressional franking privilege (free postage) is quite an incumbent benefit!) and he reliably points whichever way he thinks the wind is blowing. But does he actually DO anything for the $175,000 salary we pay him? Larsen has been in D.C. since 2001. It’s long past time for new voices and long past time for TERM LIMITS.
I didn’t know a thing about Tim Walz so I listened to Ezra Klein’s interview in NYT. He’s a really inspiring choice and I’m delighted Kamala Harris chose him.
