The San Juan County Conservation Land Bank, in partnership with the Islands Conservation Corps, Rain Shadow Consulting and the San Juan Preservation Trust are offering a tour to highlight recent forest management work funded by a Washington Department of Natural Resources grant.

The project areas, described by the partners during a December 15 presentation, feature roadside fuels reduction, forest thinning and Garry oak release work.

Meet at the South Turtleback parking lot at 5:30 p.m. Carpooling is encouraged. For more information, please contact Tanja Williamson at 360-378-4402 or email tanjaw@sjclandbank.org.
