Ivy and Bean Day at Darvill’s Bookstore, 2 to 3 p.m. Trivia games, t-shirt raffle, stories and snacks! A Family Literacy Month event.

Stolen Sweets and Burgers and Brew from the Lower Tavern. Stolen Sweets – This popular Portland, Oregon group delivers a unique brand of vintage acoustic jazz. The female vocalists provide tight 3-part harmonies in the style of the Boswell Sisters, radio stars of the late 20s and early 30s. They are accompanied by three men providing string syncopation on guitar and bass.  Tickets: $24, $16 (Orcas Center members), $10 (students). 7:30 p.m. at the Orcas Center. Start with Burgers & Brew in the Orcas Center Madrona Room at 5:30 p.m.  Prices: $12 for Lower Tavern burger & beverage; $25 includes burger, beverage and ticket to Stolen Sweets. 376-2281

Family Dance at the Odd Fellows Hall. 6 to 8 p.m. Suggested donation: one for $4, two for $6, three or more for $10.
