Our community is in jeopardy of losing a valuable resource. Annually, Kaleidoscope provides free preschool for families that qualify based on income or other risk factors through a federal program called Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP).
Currently we have a rare opportunity for a local family, we have an opening for a 3 or 4 year old child. If a “slot” stays open for 30 days, it goes back into the state pool and it is no longer available to our island families. Next year, we will have a full ECEAP roster so we are needing these essential services to stay in our community.
