Come enjoy some family-friendly BINGO on Thursday, May 5th at the American Legion Hall.
This month, we have some additional prizes and will feature a Taco Salad bar in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. Food will be served at 5pm and cost $15 adults and $5 kids. BINGO will run from 5:30-7:30 pm, still just $0.50 a game. Proceeds from this month’s BINGO games will help to start up Kaleidoscope’s Safety Seat program, which will offer educational resources and free car seats to the families of Orcas Island.
Prizes, in addition to the standard prize selection, include $25 gift certificates to Madrona Bar and Grill, a gift certificate for an oil change from Orcas Auto-Tech, and the 10th game will start a new Progression pot. Last month, the lucky winner took home almost $100 on the Progression game.
Kaleidoscope Preschool and Child Care Center is working to start a new program to provide child safety seats to the families of Orcas Island in conjunction with car seat education and awareness services. This will include fitting car seats into vehicles and evaluating the correct size of seat for individual children, after Safety Technician training has been completed. This service was previously offered by Orcas Fire and Rescue, but is no longer available on Orcas Island. Please support this community program by coming out to BINGO or sending donations to Kaleidoscope.
