The last Parent-Teacher-Student-Association (PTSA) meeting of this school year is next Wednesday, June 10th. It will be a short business meeting to elect the PTSA Board of Officers and approve its budget for the 2009-10 school year, beginning at 5:30 pm in the school library.
Immediately following, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., also in the school library, the PTSA is will sponsor a Community Forum: “Talking With Your Children, K-8, About Sexuality.” Tracy Dahlstedt of Mt. Baker Planned Parenthood will lead an informative session for parents of children K-8th grades, with strategies and tips for how to talk to kids about this important and sensitive issue.
