Beginning Monday, March 2,  6-7:30 p.m., Orcas Mandala

JoyfulEarthSinging is for everyone ~ we are born to sing! When we sing together in simple harmony, it creates a sense of belonging that nourishes the soul and enlivens the spirit. Regardless of musical background, we can help improve the world by joining voices in song ~ bridging our differences, celebrating our diversity, and welcoming each other as we truly are.

Joyful Earth is a non-auditioned community choir on Orcas Island, that gathers each week for the pure joy of singing together. We welcome all voices, and require no singing experience ~ just a heartfelt desire to sing with others in harmony. Our songs are learned in the oral tradition of call-and-response, reflecting a diversity of roots, origins, and inspirations. We choose songs that you can weave into the rhythm of your daily life, and take home to share with your loved ones.

Joyful Earth is a member of the Ubuntu Choirs Network, a global community of choirs who believe that the joy of singing is a universal birthright, and that together, regardless of musical background, we can help improve the world by joining voices in song.
