Jordan and his twin brother Josh mono-skiing at Snoqualmie Summit last winter with instructors and volunteers at Outdoors for All

From Rachel Griffin on CaringBridge.com

“Jordan starts his Bi-Skiing program this weekend. I probably don’t need to explain to you how excited he is…but he is!! Literally bouncing off the walls, acting like a 5 year old waiting for Christmas!

I will promise to continue to update with pictures. If you would like to see some videos, please check out YouTube or our Facebook pages.

His health continues to rock back and forth. Both his kidneys are trying to make his life difficult, but he is a trooper and fights his way thru all the pain and agony they have been giving him.

And thank you all for all the continued love, prayers and support! A special Thanks to Carol Sutton and Mark O’Neil for all their extra time and energy to help him buy and set up his skiing gear. He wouldn’t be on the slopes this year without you!”

Jordan Griffin was 16 when admitted to Harborview Trauma Hospital in Seattle on 12/17/08. He shattered vertebrae C6 in his neck resulting from a snowboarding accident.

His diagnosis is C6 Incomplete Quadriplegia. He was transferred to Seattle Childrens Hospital and Shriners Hospital in California for rehab. He continues to make progress little by little. He is strong and remains determined to live life to the fullest!
