From the Orcas Island Historical Museum
Join the Orcas Island Historical Museum in celebrating the 2012 Historical Day Fair Saturday July 7th from 10 am to 3 pm on the Eastsound Village Green.
The Farmer’s Market will have their regular venue, and rows of additional booths will feature crafts, food vendors, various non-profit organizations and the popular OIHM Pie Booth where talented locals sell their home-made sweets in support of the Museum.
The theme of this year’s Community Historical Day Parade, sponsored by the Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce, is “Orcas Farming & Agriculture” and it will commence at 11 am down North Beach Road, followed by an afternoon of live music on the Village Green stage.
If you would like to donate a pie or other sweets, or would like more information, call the Museum office at 376-4849.
